"The Experience itself, in itself, inside the sound, inside the moment. The sessions leading to Team Aire were all about that Experience of... being there, being present, being within the sound of the ensemble, the instantaneoussness of each moment.
What a joy and honor to be asked by Stephan Kirsch to be a part of this amazing project, to participate in this Experience. I´ve known Stephan for years now, working with him on my music for both the Mannheim and Stuttgart Ballett companies. It was always a pure pleasure to work with him, exploring new ways of making music. In these Team Aire sessions, we all came together with a complete openess and eagerness to co-create, from basic ideas to unique formulas to structures hammered togethher on the spot.The excitement within that Experience will long be savored and remembered. The ensemble of Stephan, Magnus Mehl, Hans Fickelscher and myself made some serious alchemical magic. We each flowed easily and organically from being leader, instigator, supporter, provider and jokester... and back again.
This was what made the music "what it is"!
